<h2 id="告知"><a href="#%e5%91%8a%e7%9f%a5" class="header-anchor"></a>告知
</h2><p>今年年初，公司和集團有一系列的調整，我們的部門要被解散了。明明在半年前才組織調整，從一個大部門拆成兩個部門，而我在的那個部門就是要被解散的那個。</p>
<p>我們在過農曆年前被「告知」這件事情，包括大家各自會被分配到哪個部門，沒有任何預警，除了一些到處打聽來的風聲以外。</p>
<p>沒想到一直以來被認為穩定的金融業，也會遇到這樣的事情。事實上，我進這間公司的這幾年以來，組織團隊的異動就沒有少過，甚至每年訂 KPI 還有 1-on-1 的主管就沒有重複過。這次的調整，不說意不意外，至少也習慣了吧。</p>
<p>因為我原本在工作上就接觸公有雲端平台比較多，所以就被分配到負責全公司雲端平台的單位。身邊的人都在恭喜我覺得我的運氣算不錯，因為系統上雲是這幾年公司甚至是集團的目標之一，所以也算是一個重點單位，還能看看這間大企業的架構設計是什麼樣子，可以說得上是緣分了吧，對職涯肯定是有顯著的正面影響（雖然我並不特別追求就是了）。</p>
<p>在過年前，我的主管就有帶我去跟新單位打個招呼，可以感受到新主管是還不錯的老闆，團隊氣氛也還算不錯。</p>
<p>只不過 debuff 就有點激烈，因為新的單位在不同的辦公大樓，我的 <a class="link" href="https://blog.giveanornot.com/productivity-happiness/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"
>通勤時間</a> 會變成原本的 3 倍！雖然說搭一班公車就可以從巷口直達，但體感上還是差很大。這對本來就覺得 <a class="link" href="https://blog.giveanornot.com/work-vs-life-2/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"
>生活被工作侵蝕</a>、感受不到這份工作對人生的意義是什麼的我，是一件很嚴重的事情。</p>
<h2 id="未解的問題"><a href="#%e6%9c%aa%e8%a7%a3%e7%9a%84%e5%95%8f%e9%a1%8c" class="header-anchor"></a>未解的問題

>我以前在聊工作的事情</a> 就能看得出來，這不是我第一次想這件事情了。事實上，在我去年年底開始 <a class="link" href="https://blog.giveanornot.com/9-to-6/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"
>晚九朝六的作息</a> 的前幾個月，我就有非常強烈的念頭在今年年初休息一下了，後來因為晚九朝六的作息大幅改善了我對生活的滿意度，這件事情才不了了之。</p>
<p>但這次我很清楚我不能再逃避這個問題了，要嘛去什麼都不做被安排到新單位、要嘛離職，不管結果是哪個，都是一次主動的選擇。</p>
<p>雖然新單位目前可得的資訊都還蠻正面的，但還是充滿了未知；另一方面是渴求 gap year 已經好一陣子的我，但誰知道我 gap 期間能不能搞出什麼，如果真的要重返職場，還能不能有這麼好的機會？</p>
<p>這真的很難，我帶著這個未解的問題過了一整個農曆年，還是沒有想出什麼來。</p>
<p>如果沒有看到新單位還不錯、如果沒有身邊的人恭喜，這可能還不會那麼難。我果然還是個貪心的人類，而貪心過頭正是一大痛苦的來源。</p>
<h2 id="被動"><a href="#%e8%a2%ab%e5%8b%95" class="header-anchor"></a>被動
</h2><p>抱著反正不是馬上要到新的辦公室上班、且看且走的心態，加上對自己實在是沒什麼信心，我沒有在年後正式調撥到新單位的那個離職的好機會做下決定，或者說我做了最被動的決定──先去新單位看看。</p>
<p>而一下子就過了好幾個月，大家也沒聽到我說離職的消息，我的確還沒離職，而原因且聽我慢慢說。</p>
<p>老實說，新的部門還不差，也許是工作一段時間了、也可能是年紀到了，雖然大公司的通病在這個單位也都存在，但我沒有覺得那有什麼大不了的，有的時候只要顧好自己的事情，不要處處都看不順眼，心情就不會太受到影響。</p>
<p>反倒是這邊氣氛還不錯，同事也都是有經驗、有能力的人（相較於上一個單位比較像新手村）；目前任務的方向都很明確，難度對我來說也很適合。該怎麼說，排除掉正職工作本來就會佔掉不少時間，還有通勒時間變長這兩個大缺點，暫且還算是把自己養活的好方法吧。</p>
<h2 id="意義"><a href="#%e6%84%8f%e7%be%a9" class="header-anchor"></a>意義
</h2><p>在開始晚九朝六的作息之後，我發現被工作佔掉一大部份的時間也有機會過一個滿意的生活，也確實──就像在 <a class="link" href="https://blog.giveanornot.com/behind-the-scene-9-to-6/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"
>晚九朝六的真相</a> 中提到的，還是會有幾天處在不想做事的狀態。</p>
<p>在看到 <a class="link" href="https://alexhsu.com/five" target="_blank" rel="noopener"
>Alex Hsu 分享自己在達成 FIRE 之後的生活是什麼樣子</a> 以後，我就對 <a class="link" href="https://blog.giveanornot.com/huli-not-so-complete-retirement-guide/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"
>FIRE</a> 沒了最後那一絲絲美好的幻想，FIRE 就只是進到另一個階段而已。</p>
<p>而且，如果我平常在假日就也沒什麼動力做事情，那有沒有可能在我 FIRE 了以後，我也一樣是沒什麼動力做事情？只是這個情況從一週兩天，變成了生活的每一天？</p>
<p>這麼說起來，工作會不會只是一個藉口？因為我有正職工作，我就可以把總是沒動力做事情、一直拖延之類的問題，全部都怪罪給「都是工作讓我太累了」，如此一來，我就不用面對那個不理想的自己，卻也一直想著只要達成 FIRE 了，就不會有這個問題了。</p>
<p>如果這麼說的話，是不是（至少在真正 FIRE 以前）<a class="link" href="https://blog.giveanornot.com/dont-rush-to-retire/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"
>不要離開有正職工作的狀態</a> 比較好？反正不管有沒有正職工作，我都需要面對沒動力做事情的自己，還不如就做著這份不怎麼討厭的工作，在衣食無缺的前提下，還能存點錢往 FIRE 的目標前進？</p>
<p>然而寫到這邊，突然感受不到 FIRE 的意義是什麼了，或甚至活著的意義是什麼。通常我的第一直覺都是「我還有想做的事情」，但如果總是空有想做的事情，而沒有動力去做的話，那這些想做的事情還能支撐那些意義嗎？</p>
<p>扯遠了…總之在我找到一件足夠有意義、又能維生的事情以前，先這麼工作下去或許也是一個還不差的劇本吧？雖然我可能過個幾個月又有不同的聽法了也說不定。</p>

<p style="line-height: 1.625">然后，忽然意识到一件事——</p>
<p style="line-height: 1.625"><strong>原来我的文字，是有形状的。</strong></p>

<p style="line-height: 1.625">以前写完一篇，发布，然后它就变成 URL 里的一串字符、数据库里的一行记录、别人屏幕上滑过去的一页。它是存在的，但也很轻。轻到有时候自己都会怀疑：这些字真的落在哪里了吗？有人真的读进去了吗？还是只是误点进来的流量？</p>
<p style="line-height: 1.625">我写博客只是单纯的爱好，一篇篇写下来，当时只是觉得某个问题值得记录，某个想法值得分享。没想到有些文章也帮到不少人，有人在评论区留言，有人与我互动，我蛮开心的。</p>
<p style="line-height: 1.625">所以每一篇文章下的每一个真实评论，我都认真回复的，就像评论框中的那句：<strong>哪怕发个表情，也是对作者最大的支持</strong>。</p>
<p style="line-height: 1.625">现在这块鼠标垫就在手边。</p>
<p style="line-height: 1.625">它不是奖杯，不是证书，不会让我变成更好的作者。但它是一个<strong>锚点</strong>——每次把手放上去，都会想起那些文章是怎么被我一个字一个字敲出来的，想起某些改了好几处还是不满意的时刻......</p>
<p style="line-height: 1.625">这些时刻原本散落在时间里，现在被一块鼠标垫收拢在一起，变成了可以触摸的东西。</p>

<p style="line-height: 1.625">这句话说出来有点矫情，但确实是真实的感受。一个人写博客久了，会习惯那种"对着虚空说话"的状态。你写，你发，然后等待。等待本身成了常态，甚至忘了等待之外还有别的可能。</p>
<p style="line-height: 1.625"><strong>被看见，本身就是一种肯定。</strong></p>
<p style="line-height: 1.625">这种肯定不需要很大。一块鼠标垫就够了。它不会增加我的访问量，不会提升我的写作技巧，但会让我在下次打开编辑器、面对写好的文字，多一点点"再打磨一下"的理由。</p>
